Terms of using SastyBed

Terms & Conditions

By creating an account or using SastyBed, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they explain how bookings, enrolments and payments work and what we each expect of one another.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and SastyBed (operated by GOFTECH). By accessing or using the SastyBed website or mobile apps, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Owner accounts may be subject to identity/KYC verification before full access is granted.

3. Roles on the platform

  • Students browse hostels, send booking requests or walk-in enquiries, and manage their stays.
  • Hostel owners list hostels, manage rooms and occupancy, confirm bookings, enrol walk-in students and communicate with residents.

4. Bookings & enrolments

A booking request is an intent to stay; the hostel owner confirms availability. For walk-in hostels, enrolment is completed in person by the owner. SastyBed records and helps manage these bookings but is not a party to the rental agreement between a student and a hostel.

5. Payments & fees

SastyBed is free for hostel owners for its core platform — no subscription and no commission on walk-in enrolments. Where online payment is enabled, it is processed by the relevant payment provider. For “Pay at hostel” and walk-in bookings, you pay the hostel directly and SastyBed does not handle or hold those funds.

6. Room changes

By design, all room changes and transfers are owner-initiated to keep operational control with the hostel. Students arrange changes with their owner, who processes the transfer in the app.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or access data that is not yours.
  • Do not post unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or misleading content.
  • Use the chat and contact features for genuine, hostel-related communication.

8. Content & data ownership

Hostel data you create on SastyBed remains yours. Owners can export their records (rooms, students, bookings, payments and expenses) as PDF and CSV at any time. You grant SastyBed the limited rights needed to operate and display the service.

9. Disclaimers

SastyBed is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee the conduct, listings or availability of any hostel or student. Verify details directly with the other party before relying on them.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SastyBed and GOFTECH are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, or from dealings between students and hostels.

11. Termination & account deletion

You may stop using SastyBed at any time and request deletion of your account via our Account Deletion Request page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
